Placing the Patient First
We have an uncompromising commitment to place the patient first. Our goal is to provide physical therapy services of the highest quality for our patients. Understanding insurance is very difficult. At Tranquillity we will take the time to give patients a clear understanding of their insurance coverage. We will provide you with any assistance needed to make this process easier.
Filing Your Insurance
We will submit your services directly to your insurance company.
We will work with you and your insurance company to receive payment for services.
Deductibles, coinsurance and co-pays are due at the time of services.
We will file third party claims (auto, personal injury). If claims are denied, the patient will be responsible for their balance.
Managed Care Contracts

Information you need to know about your Insurance:
Insured patients: PT services are currently covered under most health insurance plans. The percentage of out of pocket costs to the patient varies according to the provisions of the individual plan. Typically, the patient is responsible for some portion of each daily visit charge, that is either a fixed percentage of each visit, or a fixed co-payment. Worker's compensation cases and motor vehicle accident claims are typically covered at 100%, with no out of pocket costs to patients. Tranquillity clinic currently maintains contracts with some providers, but will bill all insurance according to the provisions of each individual plan. Please call the clinic at 316.773.0909 if you have any questions.
Uninsured patients: payment is expected in full at the time of services, unless other arrangements have been through the billing office. The Clinic accepts Visa and MasterCard.
Most insurance companies require a Doctors referral, often times pre-certification is necessary If this is the case with your policy, you should have your physician forward the referral to our office. We participate with most major health insurance companies and will assist you in receiving the maximum coverage allowable. Tranquillity Therapy provides status reports to the referring physician to communicate the patient's progress throughout the treatment process.
It is your responsibility to call your insurance company to check on the coverage provided by your individual policy.
If we have not received payment from your insurance carrier within 60 days, we expect payment from you directly.
Your insurance contract is between you and your carrier--we submit claims as a courtesy to you. You are directly responsible for your payment of our services.
Most health insurance coverage will cover your physical therapy treatment if deemed medically necessary.
Please call your insurance carrier directly to see what your specific plan covers and what is necessary for maximum allowable benefits.
If you do not see your insurance company listed, or if you have any questions about the above information, please ask. We are here to help you.
